Kidney stones can be oxalate, or calcium, but regardless, the kidneys themselves play a huge role in kidney stone creation and prevention.
The key to prevention is citrate. But not any citrate. Citrate from factory-made citric acid is made from an aspergillus fermentation process and contains dangerous impurities.
So I would use lemon or lime juice as the source of citric acid. Then, create citrate by neutralizing it with potassium bicarbonate, and magnesium carbonate (which is only a little soluble so you will need to stir).
Drink 1 liter of this solution per day, is what I do. It raises zeta potential, which prevents the blood from getting thick and sludgy. It should help prevent micro-injuries to the blood vessels.
Recipe
Mix 1200mg of magnesium carbonate with 10mL of (bottled is fine) lemon juice, and stir for about 1 minute.
Then, add 2400mg of potassium bicarbonate, 500mL of coconut water (from a package is fine, as long as it only has coconut water as the ingredient), and 500mL of water.
Stir and refrigerate. Drink 1 glass 3 times a day which should be the full liter.
This will give you about 350mg of elemental magnesium, and 2200mg of elemental potassium.
BE CAREFUL - ask your doctor before you use this, if you are under a doctor’s care, especially if you have congestive heart failure or take a diuretic or have kidney disease.
Be safe out there!
Should greatly help to prevent stones and also cut down on likelihood of cardiovascular disease.
